Three Great Women
I have worked with children for over forty-five years and most of my ministry colleagues have been women.
I remember many meetings where I was the only man present. I recall learning that many women were able to multi-task which is foreign to me.
In all those working relationships one thing has stood out, the high-quality Christian leaders that God has allowed me to serve with over those years. Many of the essential leadership lessons were taught to me by women.
This last week, EGM lost three great women. Each one of them was truly unique and gifted. Each had a love for Jesus Christ, children and his church. I would like to honor God by celebrating their lives and the unique impact each had on Every Generation Ministries.
Georgalyn Wilkinson (1935-2025)

Georgalyn was one of the leaders instrumental in the founding of Every Generation Ministries.
She had extensive cross-cultural leadership experience having served for years in Japan. Georgalyn was an early mentor to EGM founder, Daniel Watts.
She traveled numerous times to Poland and was the driving force behind the production of EGM’s first Bible teaching materials. She invited Hungarian leaders to Poland and introduced EGM. That group included current Board members and the current EGM-Hungary Director.
Georgalyn took Daniel to Egypt in 1999 and introduced EGM to Egyptian Christians. Some of those leaders are still involved with the ministry today. Georgalyn served for six years on the EGM Board of Directors.
In the formative years of the ministry, she had great influence as a Board member with extensive cross-cultural ministry leadership and management experience.
Most importantly, Georgalyn was a leader who influenced others through her godliness and vibrant life with Christ.
Today, thousands of children around the world are being impacted for Christ, a legacy to Georgalyn’s godly life and leadership with EGM.
Sarah Zawedde (1962-2025)

I met Sarah Zawedde in Kampala, Uganda where she served as the Children’s Pastor at GABA Community Church.
She attended a “vision casting” meeting that I led and invited me to come to Gaba and share our Deuteronomy 6 principles with the teaching teams. Our EGM returned and were well received by the children’s workers, especially Sarah.
She was immediately drawn to the principles we found in Deuteronomy 6:4-9 (Relationship, Experience, Truth, Discussion and Response). She sought ways to get further involved and began using the principles in her church.
Soon she was teaching other children’s leaders and became a close cultural advisor to EGM as we began to launch the ministry. She served on the first Board of Directors and traveled around Uganda teaching our Deuteronomy 6 principles.
Sarah was a fountain of wisdom for EGM as we sought to establish our first ministry in East Africa. She became a friend and had a significant influence on my life.
On March 24, she passed on to be with the LORD. Join me in thanking God for Sarah. She was a great woman of faith, gifted leader and great love of children.
Thousands of children will continue to be impacted by her faithful life of service.
Jean Frommack (1933 -2025)

This last week of March EGM lost one of the matriarchs of our ministry.
Jean Frommack, the wife of our founding Chairman of the Board passed away into the presence of the LORD.
Jean and Wes traveled to Poland in 1992, just as Daniel and Marla were finishing language learning and launching the first EGM work in Poland. They fell in love with the ministry and became faithful supporters of the work in so many different ways.
No one was more encouraging than Jean and during every hill and valley in the development of the work, Jean was the voice of calm godliness and biblical perspective. She spoke like an angel and was always ready with a beautiful thought or lovely passage of Scripture.
In these last years after Wes’ passing, Marla and I would call just to hear her voice speaking out words of godly wisdom and spiritual life.
Jean passed on to be with the LORD but this weekend thousands of children around the world will be blessed by her life of godliness and Christian love.
